Yes, his hair is not the brightest red and his eyes are not the most vivid green (especially in the dark) but I couldn't let his color scheme stand out TOO much in a mostly blue comic. He is somewhat mixed, but not with Rethuii. If you want the story behind it you can check out my top patreon tier where I keep the background info for my comics. The comic itself might not ever have a reason to delve into it.
